So many times I have had to deal with certain folks who take a smidgen of fact or truth or their reality and turn it into a full blown nightmare. They continue to hang on to their version of the truth until they believe it. Then try to destroy others with it. Standing back and evaluating their own part in the drama is something they avoid.
I have dealt with this for basically my entire life. There's a point that I walk away. I don't look back and I refuse to be a target. That makes some of them so mad they work even harder to destroy and punish. The only ones being punished is themselves.
Maturity is having a lot to say and not saying it.
Silence is Golden.
Don't look back. You don't live there anymore.
